Volunteers are required to assist Central Lake Ontario Conservation staff put the finishing touches on sections of newly created trails in Heber Down Conservation Area, Whitby. This event will take place on Saturday, October 24th from 9:00am until 11:00am. Activities may include raking topsoil, spreading woodchips, planting trees and shrubs, and installing trail signs. Work boots and work gloves are recommended. This event will require some heavy lifting and is not suitable for small children.

On this day, we hope to further enhance the trails for the thousands of watershed residents who visit each year.”
