Guest Speaker: Chief Topleaf

Take a step back in time, long before the European settlers, to when the First Nations people lived in the area. Discover what life was like back in the early days of Canada and how the First Nations people lived with, and learned from nature.

Chief Topleaf is an educational Mohawk Chief from Quebec that has enthralled audiences throughout Ontario and Quebec. This is a presentation for adults and children of all ages.

Over 30,000 grade four students from Durham Region have had the opportunity to enjoy Chief Topleaf’s presentation through the Durham Children’s Groundwater Festival.
