Beavers are a natural and welcome part of nature. From time to time beaver activity
conflicts with the management of both public and private property and can create safety
issues. Nuisance beavers are regulated through the Ministry of Natural Resources.
Listed below are a few helpful resources that cover beaver biology and options that are
available for nuisance situations. Although the Conservation Authority does not deal
with the management of wildlife, staff are available to discuss problems that may occur
within the CLOCA jurisdiction and offer some solutions, please contact:
