With the approach of spring a person may be sure of two things: birds will be singing and pancakes will be flipping at the Central Lake Ontario Conservation Authority's Annual Maple Syrup Festival, Purple Woods Conservation Area in Oshawa. A visit to the Festiv al makes a great family outing!
Unfortunately, due to the recent rainfall the horse-drawn wagon rides will not be operating this weekend.
In the case of poor weather conditions please call (905) 579-0411 and press option 3 for current Festival status.
Sorry, no pets at all allowed at the Festival.
