Welcome spring with a memorable and affordable family experience at the 43rd annual Purple Woods Maple Syrup Festival.  We showcase 400 years of the maple syrup history in Ontario through interpretive tours, complete with fireside story telling.  Our Heritage Hall provides a rustic indoor heated meeting space for families and friends.  Bring your own lunch or enjoy delicious pancakes and local maple syrup and sausages cooked up by our community volunteers.  We offer lots of free hands-on activities, games and crafts for the kids and kids at heart.

Please wear appropriate footwear and dress for cooler weather.

Since Purple Woods is located on the top of the Oak Ridges Moraine it is always a little colder with some wind. Don't forget the hats and mitts!
