
Maple Butter Tarts
½ cup brown sugar
1-1/2 cups maple syrup
1 cup raisins
½ tsp salt
1 tbsp butter
Bring all ingredients to a boil. Cook until raisins are cooked, about 10-15 minutes. Remove from heat and cool. Add 2 beaten eggs and 1 tsp vanilla. Put in unbaked tart shells. Bake at 450 degre
es for 8 minutes and at 350 degrees until done. This makes about 1-1/2 dozen medium size tarts.
