Join us at Purple Woods Conservation Area for a fun and educational event in the forest and in the kitchen!
Register Online.

In the early evening of May 10th we will be working in the forest to remove the invasive Garlic Mustard. This invasive plant species has the ability to inhibit native plants and we need your help to keep it out of Purple Woods Conservation Area. After some time in the forest we will head into the Heritage Hall to try some "garlic mustard pesto" made with the invasive plant.

Children are welcome, but recommend they should be of school age to participate and make both the food and management activities enjoyable for them and you.  Please be prepared for inclement weather, bring your weeders/trowel and gardening gloves.

For more information please contact Diana Shermet at the Authority office (905) 579-0411, ext. 107, email: dshermet@cloca.com.
