In the case of poor snow conditions you can explore the trails without snowshoes, so this is a snow or no snow event.  Flashlights are discouraged as it is disturbing to wildlife and not necessary as your eyes will adjust to the conditions and the candlelit trails.  Participants can bring their own snowshoes and or walking poles but please leave pets at home.
