This program combines watershed awareness and art to create a long-term message for the community.  Designed to help students discover their local watershed and empower them to make a positive environmental impact, the Stream of Dreams    program includes the creation of a dream fish mural:  a colourful reminder of the importance of good water quality and stream habitat.

Through the Stream of Dreams    program, students discover the story of creeks, what makes them healthy, the water cycle, stormwater management and how people impact local waterways.  Each student receives a wooden fish to paint. The collective school of fish, is then installed on the schoolyard's chain link fence, reminding students and the neighbourhood, to be good watershed stewards.
