Heritage Hall
Wedding rentals are not permitted due to zoning restrictions.
Heritage Hall is available for events that have an environmental, agricultural, recreational, or outdoor appreciation focus. Permissible uses include workshops, team building, meetings, runs & hikes, local food dinners, and cultural heritage celebrations. Located on the crest of the Oak Ridges Moraine, Heritage Hall offers spectacular scenic views of meadows, forests, and distant Lake Ontario.
Purple Woods Heritage Hall was designed to create a natural meeting place to embrace the environment in a location accessible to the surrounding community. Constructed from reclaimed wood, and equipped with rainwater harvesting technology for toilet plumbing, this building is both aesthetically and environmentally suited to its location on the sensitive Oak Ridges Moraine.
This 41 acre site is home to a large, 150 year old sugar maple/beech hardwood forest and is a popular place during our spring Purple Woods Maple Syrup Festival.
