Governance
Central Lake Ontario Conservation (CLOCA), governed by members who make up our Board of Directors, is a registered charity established under the Conservation Authorities Act.
CLOCA's objective is to provide, in the area over which it has jurisdiction, programs and services designed to further the conservation, restoration, development and management of natural resources other than gas, coal, and minerals.
Board Members are appointed for a four-year term, following municipal elections with representation based on municipal populations in our watershed. They authorize CLOCA’s programs and policies, which are then implemented by staff.
