AQUATIC MONITORING ASSISTANT
Seasonal - April 27th, 2026 to August 28th, 2026 (18 Weeks)
This is a Summer Student Position. The aquatic monitoring assistant will be working on various projects in streams and wetlands located within the Central Lake Ontario Conservation Authority (CLOCA) jurisdiction.

Cashiers (5 positions)
Seasonal - March 7th to March 29th, 2026 (12 days total) - (Purple Woods Maple Syrup Festival)
This is a seasonal position, and you may be required to work all or some of the following dates: March 7, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 28 and 29 during the annual Purple Woods Maple Syrup Festival. A mandatory half-day training and orientation session is planned for Saturday, March 7, 2026.

Environmental Education Instructor
The Environmental Education Instructor schedules, markets and delivers the Authority’s experiential curriculum-linked, watershed-based environmental education programs to school and community groups in Conservation Areas and greenspaces in our watershed. The role also supports planning, delivering and participating in community outreach events and festivals within the watershed, and recommends and implements program changes/updates.

Festival Assistant (1 Position)
Seasonal - March 7th to March 29th, 2026 (12 days total) - (Purple Woods Maple Syrup Festival)
This is a seasonal position, and you may be required to work all or some of the following dates: March 7, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 28 and 29 during the annual Purple Woods Maple Syrup Festival. A mandatory half-day training and orientation session is planned for Saturday, March 7, 2026.

Festival Greeter (1 position)
Seasonal - March 7th to March 29th, 2026 (12 days total) - (Purple Woods Maple Syrup Festival)

Maple Syrup Interpreters (1 position)
Seasonal - Feb 17th to April 10th, 2026 - (Purple Woods Maple Syrup Festival)
This is a seasonal position, required to work during the Purple Woods Maple Syrup Festival and the Sugar Bush Tours school program from Feb 17 to April 10, including some weekends, to deliver interpretive and education programs. A mandatory half-day training and orientation session is planned for Saturday March 7, 2026.

Maple Syrup Taffy Maker (1 position)
Seasonal - March 7th to March 29th, 2026 (12 days total) - (Purple Woods Maple Syrup Festival)

RTV Operators and Parking Attendants (3 positions)

SENIOR WATER RESOURCES TECHNICIAN
Seasonal - April 27th, 2026 to August 28th, 2026 (18 Weeks)
This is a Summer Student Position. The Senior Water Resources Technician will support Engineering Department projects by assisting with fieldwork and data entry related to streamflow measurements, water quality sampling, monitoring equipment installation and maintenance, surveying etc.

TERRESTRIAL MONITORING ASSISTANT
Seasonal - April 27th, 2026, to August 28th, 2026 (18 Weeks)
This is a Summer Student Position. This role involves a range of responsibilities, including terrestrial monitoring, Ecological Land Classification (ELC), invasive species management, community outreach, and habitat restoration.

WATER RESOURCES TECHNICIAN
