Real-Time  Rainfall Monitoring

The focus of Central Lake Ontario Conservation's (CLOCA's) hydrologic monitoring network has been to monitor and record high flow events as they pass through the developed portions of CLOCA’ watershed.  This information assists with flood forecasting and warning operations. More recently, the value of hydrologic data for multiple purposes has been realized.  This information can be used to generate an understanding of low flow and drought conditions, groundwater budgets and aquatic studies.

Healthy watersheds for today and tomorrow.

Our watershed is located on the traditional territory of the Williams Treaties First Nations, the Chippewas of Beausoleil, Georgina Island and Rama and the Mississaugas of Alderville, Curve lake, Hiawatha, Scugog Island.
