Jeffery Street Park Cleanup

Let’s keep our local parks clean and beautiful! All supplies for litter picking will be provided. Everyone is welcome to register – bring friends, family, and neighbours as we work together to keep our local green space litter‑free and vibrant.

All volunteers must: 

• Review the online awareness and safety training before the first clean-up

• Wear weather-appropriate clothing. We suggest light-coloured clothing that covers arms and legs, suitable protective closed-toe footwear, work gloves, a baseball cap or wide-brimmed hat, and sunglasses. 

• Stay alert and stay clear of hazards. 

• Avoid touching or picking up any hazardous items, dead animal carcasses, any sharps or biohazardous waste, or anything that cannot be safely identified and report these to the authorized group leader.
